In Ecuadorian folklore, Umiña is a goddess of health and protection. 

Just like our famous clutches, these amazing blankets are limited and collectible. Artisans in Otovalo, Ecuador have crafted these soft, lightweight, and super warm blankets special for Soulucean. The designs are beautiful, and REVERSIBLE! They are large enough to cover a queen size bed, but lightweight enough to use as a throw or personal blanket (which is great because you are going to want to take these with you everywhere!)

We are creating useful products and contributing a portion of the proceeds to charities that are addressing the perilous state of our oceans and beaches. Water is the life-giving force which links us all, and our collective future is more dependent on the health of the oceans than most people realize.
